They people are very funny about wanting their picture taking. This was a sale man in the market. As soon as I got my camera out they all quickly jumped in the picture. They were so excited about the Americans. You can also get a little view of what the "mall" is like. Not quite an American mall!
There are no dryers here. We do have an automatic washer. I can't help be think of the savings: no dryers, no hot water heaters, no houses to heat. Pretty cheap place to live overall.
I was thinking if I ended up with no income again, I should just move out of the country somewhere cheap where you can live on practically nothing.....
ReplyDeleteI think you'll have to go back to the Philippines with me someday! I wish I could be there. I'm actually getting really interested in births lately..maybe someday when my kids are older I can be a midwife or something! Just a thought..=)
